Been a ham since 1980 and into QRP since 1985 or so when I got a PM-3A.
Then built various kits, including the HW-9.  Wrote an article for QEX for
modifications to the HW-9 (1984) and updated it in 1986 or so.  Presently
have several HW-9s, a Ten-Tec Argosy, a K1, and various and sundry other
rigs.  Operate FD from my farm here 100% solar QRP, cw, phone both HF and VHF.
