Trip to the Appalachian Trail 2.8 miles

East of Route 501 to Round Head lookout.

Ed and I hiked 2.8 miles east from the Rte 501 crossing. When we arrived

at the Round Head location we set up a 20 meter dipole and I made two

QSO's with a SST. The weather was in the low 40's with the sun shinning

but when the clouds arrived the temperature dropped and the snow fell.
