Trail WAS Award
This award was created to promote the stations on the
Appalachian Trail to work the bands other than 40 meters.
This will give the stations on the West Coast and DX a
chance to work the trail. To receive this certificate you
must have a two-way communication with any stations
from each of the 50 states while you are operating from
the Appalachian Trail.
Your operating location from the trail does not have to be
the same place for every contact. You must submit a log
with the calls of the 50 stations one from each state, date,
time, band, RS(T), QTH and your coordinates or location
where you made the contacts on the Appalachian Trail.
