BW31 Description
The Black Widow 31 is a four-band no tuner required vertical antenna.
It is designed to work on 80m, 75m, 40m, and 15m without a tuner.
When a tuner is used, it’s a nine-band vertical on
80m, 75m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, and 10m.
It is designed to be configured as a ground mounted antenna.
The seven ground radials should be used for proper operation.
The BW-31 Vertical works fine with 100 watts.
If you purchased the Guy Kit, you now have an antenna
that can withstand wind gusts of 40 mph.
The antenna will be tuned with 50 feet of RG8X coax, it is suggested
that the RG8X be used for best results.
The antenna is sold without the pole.
You will need to purchased the DK9SQ Mast or the Jackite Pole on your own.
Note: This antenna is designed for portable use.
It should not be installed as a permanent installation.
