TAC 2004 Soap Box
K1-4 & Mosley antenna. Running off batteries. Not enough activity to stay on for four hours. Props not very good in any direction. Have tried to op this contest last couple of years and there appears to be no interest in it. Wayne de W5KDJ
Ron - thanks for the TAC sprint. Good fun. Jim de W1PID
Did not hear anyone on SSB, on 20, also looked around on 40 CW, but did not hear any TAC stations. So it was 20 or nothing. Steve Ray de K4JPN
Operated old Ten Tec 509 outside with 1/2 wave and LDG tuner. Chilly and wet. Only operated 2 hours, and rain got serious around 2000Z. Good participation this year. Let's keep this contest! John de W2AGN
Decided to put in a full effort to help avert cancellation of the contest. But copy really was near impossible with static crashes and power line noise! I suppose the highlight was working several Europeans in their Field Day. Thanks to Ed for N3EPA QSO's on 20 & 40. BIG signal on both bands. Bob de N4BP
Only had about an hour of operating time but decided I would
submit my log anyway. I just got the Argonaut V the day before so
this was its maiden voyage. Michael de VE3WMB
Last year I managed 5QSO and this year 8QSO (including HP1AC). Conditions not so good but I like the TAC contest very much. Hope to work all of you next year. 73's Krzysztof de SP9NSV
